Research Purpose The purpose of this research is to explore how a young writer perceives his writing, representation, and the process of being creative. Research Questions1. In what ways does this young writer create characters and weave them into his writing?
2. How does this writer account for the processes that he goes through as he creates his poems, novel, song lyrics, and short stories?
3. What does the writer perceive as inspirations/influence to his writing?
4. How does this writer conceptualize representation and intended audience for his writing? Interview Questions
1. Could you tell me about a time when you were really inspired to write?
2. Could you describe some writing strategies you use when you write?
3. Walk me through your process of writing song lyrics, poems, music, and novel.
